Responsibilities
- Collaborate with development and quality assurance teams to understand requirements and develop test plans.
- Create and execute automated and manual test cases for SaaS-based web applications.
- Identify, report, and help resolve software defects with development teams.
- Develop and maintain JavaScript-based end-to-end test automation scripts and frameworks.
- Design, develop, and execute automated API tests.
- Perform performance, load, and stress testing to assess application scalability.
- Integrate automated tests into continuous integration and deployment processes.
- Own the test automation strategy and roadmap, including automation priorities and timing.
- Mentor junior automation engineers and conduct code reviews for test automation.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to improve testing velocity and reduce release cycles.
- Define and maintain testing automation standards and best practices across engineering.
- Identify testing gaps and compliance risks in healthcare workflows with product and engineering leadership.
- Implement intelligent test-failure analysis to reduce manual triage.
- Use AI-driven test-case generation to identify edge cases and improve coverage.
- Deploy performance anomaly detection models to identify regressions before production.
- Analyze coverage gaps and untested code paths to support healthcare compliance and data integrity.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
- At least 5 years of software development experience focused on testing and test automation for SaaS-based web applications.
- Strong programming skills in one or more of Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Experience with JavaScript-based end-to-end automation tools such as Cypress, CodeceptJS, and Playwright.
- Experience with API testing tools or frameworks such as Postman, Katalon, or REST Assured.
- Experience with agile development methodologies and continuous integration and deployment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across functions.
- Proven ability to work independently and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
- Healthcare experience is highly preferred.
