Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with development and quality assurance teams to understand requirements and develop test plans.
  • Create and execute automated and manual test cases for SaaS-based web applications.
  • Identify, report, and help resolve software defects with development teams.
  • Develop and maintain JavaScript-based end-to-end test automation scripts and frameworks.
  • Design, develop, and execute automated API tests.
  • Perform performance, load, and stress testing to assess application scalability.
  • Integrate automated tests into continuous integration and deployment processes.
  • Own the test automation strategy and roadmap, including automation priorities and timing.
  • Mentor junior automation engineers and conduct code reviews for test automation.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives to improve testing velocity and reduce release cycles.
  • Define and maintain testing automation standards and best practices across engineering.
  • Identify testing gaps and compliance risks in healthcare workflows with product and engineering leadership.
  • Implement intelligent test-failure analysis to reduce manual triage.
  • Use AI-driven test-case generation to identify edge cases and improve coverage.
  • Deploy performance anomaly detection models to identify regressions before production.
  • Analyze coverage gaps and untested code paths to support healthcare compliance and data integrity.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of software development experience focused on testing and test automation for SaaS-based web applications.
  • Strong programming skills in one or more of Java, Python, or JavaScript.
  • Experience with JavaScript-based end-to-end automation tools such as Cypress, CodeceptJS, and Playwright.
  • Experience with API testing tools or frameworks such as Postman, Katalon, or REST Assured.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies and continuous integration and deployment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across functions.
  • Proven ability to work independently and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Healthcare experience is highly preferred.
