Responsibilities
- Engage with business analysts and process owners to understand business rules, process variations, inputs, outputs, service levels, and exception scenarios.
- Assess processes for automation feasibility, complexity, risk, expected value, and operational readiness.
- Design and develop modular, reusable attended and unattended Automation Anywhere A360 or enterprise-platform bots.
- Automate interactions with web and desktop applications, spreadsheets, files, email, databases, APIs, and approved enterprise systems.
- Implement validation, logging, audit trails, credential handling, retry logic, notifications, and business and system exception management.
- Prepare and maintain process design, solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, support, and operational documentation.
- Perform unit, integration, and regression testing, resolve defects, and support business users during UAT.
- Package and deploy automations across development, test, and production environments with platform and infrastructure teams.
- Monitor production bots, investigate failures, perform root-cause analysis, and deliver fixes, performance improvements, and preventive changes.
- Use source control and release-management practices while contributing reusable assets, coding standards, peer reviews, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.
- Follow security, privacy, compliance, access-control, and segregation-of-duties requirements and report delivery progress, risks, dependencies, bot health, outcomes, and support trends.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Hands-on experience developing and supporting enterprise automation solutions using Automation Anywhere.
- Experience with process analysis, technical design, testing, deployment, documentation, and production support.
- Working knowledge of SQL and at least one scripting or programming technology such as Python, JavaScript, PowerShell, VBScript, Java, or .NET.
- Familiarity with Automation Anywhere A360 or Enterprise, Control Room, attended and unattended automation, scheduling, and workload execution.
- Experience with workflow decomposition, modular design, reusable components, exception and recovery frameworks, integration, troubleshooting, deployment support, and production stabilization.
- Automation Anywhere certification is preferred when required by the role or client engagement.
- Experience with intelligent document processing, OCR, Microsoft Power Platform, UiPath, Blue Prism, or cloud services is advantageous.
