Base Salary
$119k - $155k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, code, test, and release software.
- Read, write, and review code using HTML, TypeScript, JavaScript, React, Python, and Rust.
- Collaborate with engineers and product managers as part of an autonomous, cross-functional team.
- Deploy team-owned services into AWS and Kubernetes environments.
- Take operational responsibility for owned services and participate in an on-call rotation.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in a fast-paced technical, problem-solving environment as a full-stack software developer.
- Demonstrable understanding of software engineering fundamentals.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and DOM web programming.
- Demonstrated experience with at least two of React, Python, and TypeScript.
- Experience with software engineering principles related to security, scalability, asynchronous programming, and transactions.
- Attention to detail, strong work ethic, ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and good communication skills.
- Preferred experience with GitHub Actions, GitLab, relational or NoSQL databases, and service-oriented architecture.
- Preferred ability to lead efforts in defining and implementing a service strategy.
