Base Salary
$116k - $150k/yr
Responsibilities
- Work with engineers to start projects from scratch and maintain existing codebases
- Build backend wiring, application logic, and user interfaces for educational products
- Participate in design, coding, documentation, testing, debugging, and tuning
- Provide estimates, evaluate feasibility, and assess platforms and technologies for implementations
- Collaborate across development teams to design and release products
Requirements
- At least 3 years of software engineering experience
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
- Excellent programming skills in Java or another object-oriented language
- Strong communication, analytical-reasoning, and problem-solving skills
- Passion for improving education through technology
