Base Salary
$110k - $186k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts for web applications.
- Design and implement integration tests for new product features with engineering and project management teams.
- Develop, deploy, and maintain QA processes, tools, and supporting technologies.
- Translate business requirements into technical requirements, acceptance criteria, and test plans covering quality, performance, and automation.
- Identify process improvements, error trends, and root causes and recommend solutions.
- Design and optimize AI-assisted test automation strategies for execution speed, stability, and flakiness monitoring.
- Support Production Support Engineering by triaging and remediating open-source vulnerabilities and critical production bugs.
- Mentor junior engineers and act as a technical subject matter expert.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software test engineering experience, including at least 2 years of Test-Driven Development.
- Strong knowledge of test architecture and design patterns.
- Senior-level Python experience for backend/Django testing and JavaScript/TypeScript experience for frontend/React testing.
- Hands-on experience with at least one automated testing framework such as Selenium, Playwright, Appium, or Cypress.
- Familiarity with continuous delivery tooling such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline, or Travis.
- Experience integrating AI-based tools into test automation workflows, including tools such as GitHub Copilot, automated test generation, or AI-driven test evaluation.
- Ability to support vulnerability remediation using tools such as Fortify or Wiz and address production bugs in Django and React applications.
- Strong coding standards, problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and knowledge of SOLID and clean-code practices.
Benefits
- Salary range is $110,000.00-$186,000.00 for employees in New Jersey and New York; ranges may differ in other states.
