Responsibilities
- Work directly with customers to understand objectives, scope requirements, prototype solutions, and build them.
- Design, code, and launch applications, APIs, and SDKs for secure and reliable commerce between AI agents and the financial system.
- Build and configure agent identity and credentialing systems so agents can be verified and transactions audited.
- Drive deployments end to end through configuration, policy setup, testing, and troubleshooting across diverse environments, including legacy financial infrastructure.
- Review customer codebases, identify friction points, and surface product improvement opportunities.
- Champion customer success and align product roadmap and strategy with customer feedback and field needs.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional hands-on full-stack development experience with TypeScript, Python, Go, or similar languages.
- Demonstrated ability to ship complex, production-quality features from concept through production.
- Strong rapid-prototyping, problem-solving, communication, customer engagement, ownership, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to build performant, reliable, and secure systems and work effectively in ambiguous environments.
- Fluency with AI development tools such as Claude Code and Codex.
- Preferred experience includes fintech, payments, blockchain, regulated financial infrastructure, AI-driven solutions, modern AI toolkits, agent skills, stablecoins, programmable identity, and open-source or published work.
- Preferred proficiency with Catena’s core stack: TypeScript, Python, and React.
