Responsibilities
- Work directly with customers to scope requirements, prototype solutions, propose approaches, and build the resulting software.
- Design, code, and launch Catena platform features, applications, APIs, and SDKs supporting secure commerce between AI agents and the financial system.
- Build and configure agent identity and credentialing systems so agents can be verified and transactions audited.
- Drive deployments end-to-end, including configuration, policy setup, testing, and troubleshooting across diverse technical environments and legacy financial infrastructure.
- Analyze customer codebases, identify friction points, and surface opportunities for product improvement.
- Champion customer success by bringing customer feedback and pain points to Catena’s internal teams.
- Partner with engineering, product, and business stakeholders to align the roadmap and strategy with field requirements.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional, hands-on full-stack development experience with TypeScript, Python, Go, or similar languages.
- Track record of shipping complex, production-quality features from concept through production.
- Strong rapid-prototyping, problem-solving, communication, and customer collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders, including customers and compliance officers.
- Commitment to building performant, reliable, and secure systems in ambiguous, high-ownership environments.
- Fluency with AI development tools such as Claude Code and Codex as part of the daily workflow.
- Nice-to-have experience in fintech, payments, blockchain, or regulated financial infrastructure.
- Nice-to-have experience building AI-driven solutions or integrating modern AI toolkits, writing agent skills, contributing to open source, or publishing relevant work.
- Proficiency with Catena’s core stack of TypeScript, Python, and React is preferred.
