Responsibilities
- Provide AI/ML engineering and subject matter expertise in data integration, data quality, database architecture, and data governance.
- Expand model-building, deployment, monitoring, innovation, and research capabilities across enterprise data science teams.
- Design and implement advanced platforms, tools, systems, and data science solutions using Google Cloud and AWS.
- Collaborate with data scientists, data engineers, enterprise data warehouse teams, and business stakeholders to deliver machine learning and big data initiatives.
- Develop methods, tools, and evaluation criteria for data science, analytics, data mining, data acquisition, transformation, and cleaning.
- Provide hands-on technical guidance, conduct experiments, research new technologies, and support the data science community.
- Prepare and communicate executive-level presentations covering roadmaps, business value, project status, and benefits.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Data Science, Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
- Six years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the offered role, Data Science, Data Science Engineering, Big Data Engineering, or a related position.
- Six years of experience in data science and data engineering; statistics; machine learning; deep learning; natural language processing; SQL; Hive; Python; Spark; and Linux.
- Six years of experience with Google Cloud Platform tools including BigQuery, Dataproc, Google Compute Engine, or Cloud Functions.
- Six years of experience with data modeling, programming, data mining, large-scale data acquisition, and transformation and cleaning of structured and unstructured data.
- Six years of subject matter expertise in data integration, data quality, database architecture, and data governance.
