Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Ship AI agent features to enhance engineering team efficiency.
- Iterate on versions of Sphere’s agent sandbox environments.
- Create workflows for agents to inspect code, run infrastructure, and prepare work for human review.
- Identify high-leverage internal workflows for agent implementation.
- Lead efforts to enable AI agents to act autonomously across various functions.
- Build the internal AI agent layer, 'Goose', for operational efficiency.
- Own the infrastructure and workflows for complex internal tasks.
- Establish patterns for agent usage, including context, permissions, and review processes.
Requirements
- Experience building production-quality software.
- Experience with AI agents, coding agents, or internal developer tooling.
- Comfort with backend systems, infrastructure, and CI.
- Strong judgment regarding autonomy, safety, and human review.
- High agency in transforming vague problems into working systems.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure speed and correctness.
