Responsibilities
- Drive development projects for regulatory reports built on the Axiom platform.
- Translate system, functional, and business requirements into technical implementations and functional specification documentation.
- Ensure adherence to code, security, performance, and archival standards.
- Participate in reviews and meetings, provide project updates, and manage delivery risks and issues.
- Ensure production stability and timely stakeholder communication.
- Drive and review technical and architectural designs, enforce architectural guidelines, and challenge existing approaches.
- Collaborate with finance, reporting departments, business change engineers, and project managers to deliver IT projects on time and to required quality standards.
- Support the Application Owner with Axiom platform management.
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of development experience in regulatory reporting tools.
- Minimum 8 years of Axiom development experience with hands-on development and design expertise in Axiom or equivalent regulatory reporting products.
- Comprehensive understanding of HKMA requirements, including MA(BS)1, and MAS reports, including MAS 610 and MAS 649.
- Proven experience leading and managing system or software development project delivery in a structured environment.
- Experience with architecture and implementation-level software design.
- Experience with Agile and Waterfall development approaches.
- Higher education in Computer Science from a university, university of applied sciences, or equivalent diploma.
- Experience with Axiom Controller View, Axiom components, XBRL taxonomies, normalized and denormalized database schema design, data modeling, common models, and performance optimization.
- Exposure to core banking systems, balance sheet, accounting, and other BI or reporting tools.
- Knowledge of Temenos T24 is advantageous.
- Exposure to cloud technologies and Axiom's cloud offering is preferred.
- Experience with Jasper and Tableau is preferred.
