Responsibilities
- Represent Digital Container Services to internal project teams through technical consulting, application architecture assessments, platform demonstrations, and pre-sales engineering.
- Guide development teams through application containerization and deployment using Dockerfiles or Podman specifications, Kubernetes manifests, Helm charts, and ArgoCD GitOps pipelines.
- Conduct coding sessions, office hours, and workshops covering Kubernetes, OpenShift, and modern delivery practices.
- Gather developer feedback and friction points to define technical requirements for the core platform team.
- Create quick-start guides, GitOps templates, sample repositories, and other documentation to support internal cloud-native developer communities.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Practical programming experience in at least one modern language such as Python, Go, Java, or Node.js, plus a strong understanding of modern application architectures.
- Proven expertise with Docker or Podman, Kubernetes, and Red Hat OpenShift.
- Practical experience or strong knowledge of GitOps principles, ArgoCD, and modern delivery pipelines such as GitLab CI.
- Strong interpersonal, teaching, and presentation skills for mentoring development teams.
- Fluent English and German.
