Base Salary
$185k - $240k/yr
Responsibilities
- Partner with the CEO, CTO, teammates, Design, and Operations to prioritize and execute the product roadmap.
- Design, develop, and own complex full-stack features and software components end to end.
- Deliver robust, scalable, and well-tested code across the full stack.
- Shape platform architecture and establish engineering practices for a high-performing team and culture.
- Mentor others and raise the effectiveness of the engineering organization.
Requirements
- Requires 8+ years of software development experience, including 3+ years contributing to system design or architecture.
- Demonstrated staff-level impact through architecture ownership, mentoring, and improving team effectiveness.
- Strong full-stack proficiency with TypeScript or JavaScript on the frontend, Node.js on the backend, and React.
- Proficiency with Google Cloud Platform and BigQuery, including designing, deploying, and operating scalable cloud services.
- Experience modeling, querying, and optimizing MongoDB schemas for performance at scale.
- Strong discipline with unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Experience partnering with executives and cross-functional teams to define strategy, requirements, and deliverables.
- Consistent employment history with sustained tenure in previous roles.
- Interest in remaining on a senior individual-contributor track rather than moving into executive management in the near term.
