Responsibilities
- Plan, schedule, and run testing phases across multiple projects.
- Prepare test plans and test cases and ensure appropriate coverage with Risk teams.
- Enhance the existing Java, Cucumber, and Gherkin test automation framework.
- Perform hands-on testing and maintain software quality through release.
- Act as a subject-matter expert for production support and work directly on Linux/Unix servers.
- Manage tests and defects using Jira and Zephyr.
- Capture failure root causes and produce daily progress updates and end-of-test reports.
- Collaborate with Risk Operations, Risk Margin, and other project stakeholders.
Requirements
- Previous experience testing risk systems.
- Demonstrable experience leading work across multiple projects.
- Hands-on experience with Java, Cucumber/Gherkin, SQL, and test automation.
- Understanding of margining concepts including variation margin, initial margin, and collateral.
- Understanding of market data from a testing perspective.
- Previous Agile/DevOps experience.
- Experience with Linux or Unix servers and production support.
- Experience using Jira, Zephyr, Confluence, and Jenkins.
- Experience with Oracle, FIX, MQ, IBM iSeries, and SWIFT is relevant to the technology environment.
- Capital-markets experience in equities and equity derivatives is required; previous clearing experience is a significant advantage.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
