Responsibilities
- Translate business requirements and functional specifications into test scenarios and system configurations.
- Design, execute, and maintain manual and automated functional, integration, and regression tests.
- Support software release implementation, deployments, and post-release or production validation.
- Configure system settings and validate application functionality against business requirements.
- Identify, document, track, and validate defects through resolution.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, developers, business analysts, and operations teams.
- Prepare test documentation, execution reports, and knowledge-transfer materials.
- Recommend improvements to testing processes, automation, efficiency, and quality.
Requirements
- 5–6+ years of experience in software testing, quality assurance, or test engineering roles.
- Proven experience with manual, functional, integration, and regression testing across complex application landscapes.
- Strong understanding of software quality assurance principles, testing methodologies, best practices, STLC, defect lifecycle management, and quality governance.
- Hands-on experience with test automation tools; TOSCA experience is a significant advantage.
- Experience working within Agile, Scrum, and DevOps delivery models and continuous testing and delivery practices.
- Proficiency with testing and project management tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, ALM, or equivalent platforms.
- Strong test planning, test case design, test execution, defect tracking, reporting, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience in banking, cards, payments, or financial services is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, including written and verbal fluency in Dutch and English.
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities, collaborate effectively, and communicate complex concepts to non-technical audiences.
