Base Salary
$248k - $335k/yr
Responsibilities
- Drive velocity and technology outcomes by identifying and pursuing opportunities across the organization.
- Lead significant technology initiatives end-to-end, including horizontal architecture layers.
- Design and implement durable, scalable, secure software solutions with high availability and strong performance.
- Partner with customers, Product Management, Architecture, Operations, and other cross-functional groups to deliver end-to-end solutions.
- Guide the applicability of AI technologies to customer problems and evaluate solution accuracy.
- Contribute to engineering standards, patterns, best practices, technology prototypes, patent proposals, and process improvements.
- Mentor and influence technical and non-technical stakeholders, including executives and global teams.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience developing systems or software for large business environments.
- 5+ years of experience designing complex distributed systems, management products, or business applications.
- Full-stack development experience applying AI technologies and tools to user experiences or backend solutions.
- Experience with AI technologies such as SageMaker, Vertex, LangChain, Large Language Models, Prompt Engineering, DialogFlow, and Python.
- Experience with at least one front-end technology such as React, Angular, SwiftUI, or Kotlin.
- Experience with at least one back-end technology such as Java, TypeScript, Spring, or Express with NodeJS.
- Prior experience in a cloud computing environment such as AWS or GCP.
- At least one year of experience working on teams that built AI-native applications.
- BS or MS in Computer Science or a related area, or equivalent experience.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, mentoring, collaboration, and independent decision-making skills.

- The position may be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards, and benefits under applicable plans and programs.
- Expected base pay in San Diego is $247,500-$335,000 per year.
- Compensation is based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location.
