Base Salary

$115k - $135k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design and build the adapter layer between AI service engines and the enterprise service bus, including FHIR PAS payload handling.
  • Build a synchronous service engine for real-time AI workloads by adapting the existing asynchronous Triage engine architecture.
  • Build, deploy, and operate LLM-based agents and manage their progression from configuration to production.
  • Maintain production Triage services through bug fixes, dependency and model upgrades, releases, and operational health management.
  • Integrate Azure OpenAI and related generative AI services into production business workflows.
  • Implement automated testing, CI/CD, monitoring, observability, dashboards, and alerting for AI services.
  • Follow architecture standards and review gates, document systems, and handle clinical data including PHI according to security, privacy, and compliance requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 3–5+ years of software engineering experience.
  • Strong Python skills and experience with at least one of TypeScript, C#, Java, or Go.
  • Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs and microservices, including message-driven and service-bus integration patterns.
  • Experience integrating LLM APIs such as Azure OpenAI, OpenAI, or Anthropic into applications.
  • Experience with code review, testing, CI/CD, and Agile development environments.
  • Preferred: FHIR and healthcare interoperability experience, including PAS, X12 278, HL7v2, or CDA.
  • Preferred: experience with pydantic-ai, LangGraph, structured-output LLM development, LLM observability, OpenTelemetry-based tracing, Logfire, Azure, Azure AI services, Azure SQL, Docker, Kubernetes, infrastructure as code, or regulated-domain engineering.
