Responsibilities

  • Own and lead a medium-sized product domain within Salesforce Service Cloud using standard configurations and custom development.
  • Design, build, and maintain complex Salesforce Service Cloud and Marketing Cloud features and integrations with external systems.
  • Provide technical design, architecture guidance, debugging, performance optimization, monitoring, and platform oversight.
  • Conduct security assessments, review Salesforce releases, and refactor systems for improved performance and maintainability.
  • Participate in code reviews, pair programming, knowledge sharing, technical standards, and mentoring of other engineers.
  • Analyze campaign performance, email deliverability, IP reputation, and email optimization outcomes in Marketing Cloud.
  • Develop documentation and support GDPR and CCPA compliance processes in Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Identify root causes, improve requirements, and propose future work with limited oversight.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience developing Salesforce Service Cloud or Sales Cloud solutions in Agile environments.
  • At least 5 years of experience developing Salesforce Marketing Cloud solutions in Agile environments.
  • Advanced proficiency with Salesforce Flows, Apex, Lightning Web Components, JavaScript, Aura, AMPscript, SSJS, SQL, HTML, and CSS.
  • Expertise designing reliable and scalable REST and SOAP API integrations with external systems.
  • Deep Salesforce platform and domain knowledge, including legacy and modern capabilities such as Classic, Workflow Rules, and Agentforce.
  • Experience with Git, GitHub, SFDX, and VS Code for version control and collaborative Salesforce development.
  • Experience with Marketing Cloud integrations, WSProxy, campaign performance metrics, IP reputation, and email deliverability.
  • Experience testing and optimizing emails with Litmus and Email on Acid.
  • Experience implementing GDPR and CCPA compliance processes in Salesforce Marketing Cloud environments.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, documentation, adaptability, and technical leadership skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with non-technical stakeholders and mentor other engineers.
  • Must be eligible to work in Canada and, for remote work, committed to Pacific time zone hours.
