Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Truecaller applications and services for Android.
- Deliver complex features, front-end-intensive work, and performance improvements.
- Write tests, improve code coverage, participate in code reviews, and contribute to technical design discussions.
- Advise product and business teams on engineering decisions.
- Mentor junior developers and maintain high engineering standards.
- Liaise with the release team on continuous delivery and timely bug resolution.
Requirements
- 5+ years of Android development experience, including 5+ years of Android SDK experience.
- Strong knowledge of the Android SDK and programming proficiency in Kotlin and Java.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs, Git, and SQL databases.
- Excellent debugging skills and fluent written and spoken English.
- Experience working with Agile methodologies.
- Preferred: familiarity with iOS, Firebase Remote Config, A/B testing, Crashlytics, AppsFlyer, and Clevertap.
