Responsibilities

Build highly available and secure authentication and API services.
Maintain and evolve mission-critical internal databases and services.
Architect, optimize, and operate high-volume, autoscaling, reliable real-time data infrastructure and services for semantic and classic search.
Architect agentic systems supporting highly concurrent workflows while optimizing LLM accuracy, cost, and scalability.
Build observability systems at scale for detailed customer-usage and performance insights.
Write and maintain documentation for internal and public services.
Lead a team in solving complex business problems.

Expertise in one or more systems or high-level programming languages, such as Python, Go, Java, or C++.
Strong grounding in computer science, data structures, and algorithms.
Experience operating scalable systems handling thousands of requests per second with three-nines reliability.
Experience building search and agentic AI systems at massive scale, including ingestion, text summarization, semantic and classic search, prompt and context engineering, and agent orchestration.
Experience developing complex software systems that scale to substantial data volumes or millions of users with production-quality deployment, monitoring, and reliability.
Experience with large-scale distributed storage and database systems, including SQL or NoSQL systems such as Postgres or Cassandra.
Experience building and maintaining large-scale or real-time complex data-processing pipelines using Kafka, Flink, Snowflake, Hadoop, or Zookeeper.
8+ years of experience with proven technical leadership and expertise in scalable, distributed architectures.
Experience with machine learning and evaluations is a plus.
Ability to decompose complex business problems and lead a team in solving them.
