Responsibilities
- Lead projects involving multiple teams across all aspects of the software development life cycle.
- Design and implement scalable distributed systems, automation solutions, and reliability frameworks.
- Automate manual processes, eliminate inefficiencies, and improve operational excellence.
- Develop reliable, maintainable, performant, and scalable code and services.
- Identify and proactively address potential system failures to improve resilience.
- Mentor junior team members, share best practices, and support adoption of emerging technologies.
Requirements
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 2+ years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Experience programming in at least one software programming language.
- Strong background in algorithms, data structures, Java, and NoSQL.
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent is preferred.
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely and work effectively in a team.
- Experience with high-traffic, scalable services is a plus.
