Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product managers and architects to drive innovation.
- Participate in a cross-functional team with end-to-end responsibility.
- Improve code quality through unit tests, automation, and code reviews.
- Develop new features to solve real-world customer problems.
- Contribute to a dynamic environment emphasizing collaboration and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional server development experience using Java or similar object-oriented language.
- Strong understanding of web-based architecture including web servers and databases.
- Working knowledge of SQL (Postgres, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB).
- Experience developing data-driven web applications and familiarity with the Amazon AWS ecosystem.
- Experience building and using RESTful APIs.
- Proven track record of developing widely used applications.
- Familiarity with multi-threading and cloud application concepts.
- Familiarity with large scale business intelligence applications.
- Knowledge of JavaScript and web technologies such as React.
