Base Salary
$165k - $225k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end architecture of the eBPF-based routing simulation layer.
- Design and build the control-plane topology database for internet topology data.
- Architect the in-range proxy agent to bridge the control plane to cyber ranges.
- Define the interface contract between the control plane and in-range agents.
- Serve as technical lead, making architectural decisions and conducting design reviews.
- Mentor engineers on systems design and kernel-level debugging.
- Collaborate with adjacent platform teams on operational models for multi-tenant services.
Requirements
- Deep expertise in Linux kernel networking and eBPF program development.
- Strong systems programming skills in C or Rust for eBPF, and Go or Python for control-plane tooling.
- Solid understanding of real-world internet routing, including BGP and ASN topology.
- Experience designing systems with control plane and data plane separation.
- Demonstrated technical leadership in setting architectural direction.
- Comfort at the intersection of research and production engineering.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes as a deployment environment.
