Base Salary
$136k - $175k/yr
Responsibilities
- Define and own the technical vision and architecture strategy for AI-powered GTM systems.
- Create reference architectures, design patterns, and decision frameworks for low-code-first, custom, synchronous, event-driven, human-in-the-loop, and automated systems.
- Lead architecture for complex GTM integrations, agentic workflows, real-time event processing, and cross-platform data orchestration.
- Evaluate and drive adoption of emerging AI tools, frameworks, and platforms while managing risk and technical debt.
- Serve as the technical authority for LLM orchestration, prompt safety, RAG, model context management, tool calling, multi-agent coordination, and responsible AI design.
- Own integration architecture patterns, APIs, event contracts, and data models across the GTM systems landscape.
- Define governance, extensibility, and operational standards for scalable low-code automation.
- Partner with VP-level GTM stakeholders to convert business goals into architectural roadmaps, trade-offs, timelines, and success criteria.
- Conduct architecture reviews, identify systemic risks, and improve system design quality across the GTM engineering team.
- Produce white papers, architecture decision records, and engineering wiki content to raise the organization’s technical bar.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 10+ years of software engineering experience building and shipping production-grade backend systems.
- At least three years of Technical Lead experience.
- Demonstrated experience personally building and deploying AI agents used by real end users.
- Hands-on proficiency with LLM orchestration and agentic frameworks such as LangGraph, LangChain, CrewAI, or LlamaIndex.
- Experience designing and implementing RAG systems, including vector databases, retrieval strategies, chunking, and embedding pipelines.
- Strong backend engineering fundamentals with Python and/or Node.js, FastAPI or equivalent, and asynchronous or event-driven architecture patterns.
- AWS experience, including services such as Bedrock, Lambda, SQS, SNS, or EventBridge, or equivalent cloud-native infrastructure.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with non-technical business stakeholders.
- Preferred experience with LLM evaluation and observability tooling such as LangFuse, tracing, benchmark suites, or custom harnesses.
- Preferred familiarity with FastMCP, LiteLLM, or Model Context Protocol in production multi-agent systems.
- Preferred exposure to Salesforce as a data source and familiarity with sales, deal desk, or finance workflows.
- Preferred startup experience building AI for GTM or RevOps experience pivoting into AI engineering.
- Preferred experience mentoring engineers or contributing to hiring.
- Preferred familiarity with prompt engineering and model behavior across providers such as OpenAI and Anthropic/Claude.
- Preferred full-stack development experience, including custom applications, AWS Bedrock, Node.js, Python, and serverless programming.
