Base Salary
$171k - $226k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own the Android SDK architecture, implementation, and long-term technical direction.
- Manage the Android SDKs’ technical backlog and architectural roadmap.
- Lead development and maintenance of the Android Voice and Video SDKs.
- Drive build pipeline stability and participate in CI/CD migration efforts.
- Define Android best practices and provide guidance across the organization.
- Collaborate with iOS, JavaScript, and React Native SDK teams.
- Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure quality and test coverage.
- Partner with product and platform leads to evaluate feasibility and deliver on commitments.
- Contribute to knowledge sharing and documentation.
- Enhance automated tests and monitor customer issues.
Requirements
- 10+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on Android development.
- Deep expertise in Android ecosystem and SDK development.
- Experience with real-time communication technologies like WebRTC and SIP.
- Proficiency in Java/Kotlin and C++.
- Familiarity with CI/CD systems and mobile build pipelines.
- Strong communication skills for articulating technical decisions.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and influence without authority.
- Experience mentoring engineers and fostering a collaborative culture.
