Base Salary
$117k - $209k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, ship, and iterate on high-quality software for Fusion Electronics.
- Solve complex engineering problems and contribute to system and software architecture.
- Own features from design through implementation and delivery.
- Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to solve customer problems.
- Create electronics design workflows that improve engineering and sustainability outcomes.
- Use AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, Claude, Copilot, or similar tools throughout the development lifecycle.
- Contribute to technical direction, engineering practices, and the growth of other engineers.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong software design, architecture, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong programming skills, including experience with C++ or similar systems programming languages.
- Experience building and delivering complex, production-quality software.
- Demonstrated proficiency with AI-assisted development tools combined with strong engineering judgment.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and ability to learn new technologies and domains.
- Preferred: experience with CAD, EDA/ECAD, or other complex engineering software.
- Preferred: knowledge of or passion for electronics and electronic product development.
- Preferred: experience developing large-scale desktop applications in C++.
- Preferred: interest or experience in sustainability, manufacturing efficiency, or sustainable product design.
