Base Salary
$173k - $217k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture of AWS cloud infrastructure, including organizational accounts, workload deployment, service integration, scalability, security, and resilience.
- Design and govern networking architectures using load balancers, gateways, VPC connectivity, and S3 endpoints across AWS environments.
- Lead Infrastructure as Code framework development and define reusable provisioning modules and deployment standards with Terraform and AWS CloudFormation.
- Design and maintain continuous integration automation supporting software development, testing, and deployment.
- Govern configuration management architecture and automation strategies, primarily using Ansible.
- Architect local and staging development environments and tooling for more than 200 internal users across varied hardware and operating systems.
- Lead monitoring architecture and standards for metrics, logs, telemetry, observability, and actionable operational insights.
- Evaluate, research, prototype, and introduce DevOps tools across cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, configuration management, AWS automation, and monitoring.
Requirements
- At least 9 years of experience as a DevOps or VoIP engineer.
- At least 9 years managing and maintaining Linux-based servers, including experience with tools such as SaltStack, Kubernetes, or Bash.
- At least 5 years managing Linux-based web servers such as Apache, Nginx, or Envoy.
- At least 5 years using production-level configuration management tools such as Ansible or SaltStack.
- At least 5 years working with open-source caching solutions such as Memcache.
- At least 5 years working with open-source DNS tools such as bind9.
- At least 3 years building and maintaining complex AWS architectures, including AWS EKS.
- At least 3 years writing and using Helm charts.
- At least 3 years building and creating CI/CD tools and pipelines such as Jenkins.
- At least 3 years managing cloud infrastructure with Terraform.
