Responsibilities
- Debug and resolve USB and PCIe issues during design reviews and customer hardware bring-up.
- Provide customer support for hardware bring-up on multiprocessor and multithreaded ASIC platforms.
- Develop, debug, and maintain device drivers for USB, PCIe, UART, SPI, and I2C interfaces.
- Analyze and fix complex driver-level issues reported by customers.
- Collaborate with hardware, firmware, validation, and cross-functional teams to ensure peripheral functionality.
- Participate in design reviews, root cause analysis, and technical documentation.
Requirements
- 3–6 years of embedded systems development experience.
- Hands-on device driver development experience on RTOS or other embedded operating systems.
- Strong proficiency in C programming.
- Understanding of microprocessor and multiprocessor architectures.
- Knowledge of real-time and embedded programming concepts and RTOS fundamentals.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills with the ability to independently handle complex issues and work in a customer-facing technical role.
- Bachelor's degree plus 3+ years, master's degree plus 2+ years, or PhD plus 1+ year of Software Applications Engineering, Software Development, or related work experience.
- At least 1 year of academic and/or work experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, or Python.
- At least 1 year of academic and/or work experience with debugging techniques.
