Responsibilities
- Lead the technical strategy, architecture, and roadmap for hybrid semantic search infrastructure and search quality evaluation platforms.
- Architect scalable, low-latency distributed infrastructure supporting sub-second service-level agreements.
- Build search infrastructure for both agents and human users.
- Drive engineering excellence, robust system design, and production reliability across search serving and indexing pipelines.
- Mentor and grow individual contributors and establish the Bengaluru site as a center of excellence for search infrastructure and quality use cases.
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions while managing project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Eight years of software development experience.
- Five years of experience testing and launching software products.
- Experience with distributed databases and large-scale distributed systems.
- Preferred: Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- Preferred: Three years of technical leadership experience driving architectural roadmaps, system design, and cross-team collaboration.
- Preferred: Experience architecting high-throughput, low-latency search backends, indexing pipelines, or information retrieval platforms.
