Responsibilities
- Set the architectural direction for the client’s web application.
- Initiate initiatives that improve the technical quality of the client’s application.
- Contribute to event-driven and microservices architecture, modular API/UI patterns, processes, standards, and designs.
- Develop product features, participate in workshops, and communicate technical work to other product teams.
- Own workstreams, monitor progress toward team goals, and communicate progress to the team and Technology Manager.
- Propose and implement improved processes, designs, and engineering practices.
- Support changes through production and verify that they continue to work effectively.
Requirements
- Experience delivering high-quality software projects using established best practices and mechanisms to maintain quality throughout the lifecycle.
- Experience with modular API and UI patterns.
- Experience with event-driven architecture.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate on complex problems.
- Experience in an Agile environment, including Scrum or Kanban.
- Critical thinking, good communication, and the ability to work effectively in distributed cross-functional teams.
- Ability to influence customers and team members at the project level and manage personal work effectively.
- Confident intermediate English or higher.
