Responsibilities
- Set the architectural direction for the client’s web application.
- Initiate improvements to the technical quality of the client application.
- Contribute to architecture, standards, processes, and designs with distributed engineering teams.
- Develop software, define product features, participate in workshops, and communicate technical work to other product teams.
- Own workstreams, monitor progress toward team goals, and communicate progress to the team and Technology Manager.
- Propose and implement processes, designs, and engineering practices that improve team effectiveness.
- Support changes through production and verify that they continue to work well.
Requirements
- Experience delivering high-quality software projects using established best practices and maintaining quality throughout the lifecycle.
- Experience with modular API and UI patterns.
- Experience with event-driven architecture.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate on complex problems.
- Experience working in an Agile environment, including Scrum or Kanban.
- Strong critical thinking, communication, investigation, planning, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in distributed cross-functional teams and influence customers and project team members.
- Confident intermediate English or higher.
