Responsibilities
- Ensure reliability, stability, and performance of Linux-based database systems.
- Troubleshoot complex issues across infrastructure, services, and database systems.
- Deliver infrastructure and operational improvement projects end-to-end.
- Automate operational tasks and maintain consistent, scalable environments.
- Collaborate with global teams across time zones using tools like Jira and Slack.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in Linux systems administration, particularly with CentOS or AlmaLinux.
- Strong understanding of database systems, including MySQL and PostgreSQL, with exposure to NoSQL systems like Apache Cassandra.
- Experience supporting infrastructure in on-premises and OpenStack-based cloud environments.
- Proficiency in Bash scripting and knowledge of configuration management tools like Puppet.
