Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable backend APIs and services for a payments platform supporting international money transfers and remittances.
- Build secure, traceable, and consistent transaction-processing solutions across multiple channels, partners, systems, and providers.
- Collaborate with Product and Technology teams to translate business needs into technical solutions, estimate scope, and plan execution.
- Monitor product health and operational indicators, prevent and resolve incidents, and continuously improve performance and reliability.
- Contribute to platform modernization, technical roadmap evolution, and high-impact solutions in a regulated environment.
- Share technical knowledge and propose improvements to development standards.
Requirements
- Experience as a backend software engineer designing and developing APIs and scalable services, preferably using Go.
- Experience translating business requirements into robust technical solutions and planning delivery with Product and Technology teams.
- Experience with high-impact transactional applications and integrations involving multiple systems and providers.
- Solid knowledge of system design, data persistence, and event processing, with emphasis on consistency, traceability, and resilience.
- Experience with monitoring, observability, and incident resolution using metrics, logs, and alerts through tools such as Datadog or New Relic.
