Responsibilities
- Hire, develop, retain, and directly manage Technical Deployment Leads embedded in Financial Services engagements.
- Own engagement portfolio health, customer outcomes, staffing decisions, quality reviews, and escalation support across the vertical.
- Lead the most complex customer engagements from delivery planning through production deployment.
- Set standards for SOW quality, MVP scoping, delivery excellence, value measurement, and impact reporting.
- Codify reusable solution patterns, evaluation frameworks, and technical playbooks to scale the practice.
- Partner with Sales and Marketing on qualification, scope, SOWs, go-to-market materials, reference cases, and positioning.
- Run the team’s operating rhythm, set goals tied to customer outcomes, and report into post-sales dashboards and cadences.
- Surface delivery lessons and Financial Services use cases to Product and Research and represent the vertical in leadership discussions.
- Travel to customer sites 25–50% of the time.
Requirements
- 8+ years leading enterprise AI/ML delivery and at least 3 years directly managing people who owned delivery outcomes.
- Track record of building and leading technical delivery teams in enterprise environments, ideally including embedded or forward-deployed teams.
- Experience delivering AI, ML, or LLM-based agentic solutions into production, including solution patterns and integration approaches.
- Financial Services experience with banks, insurers, or asset managers, including understanding of model risk, security, and compliance reviews.
- Ability to navigate architecture discussions, evaluate technical trade-offs, and assess whether agent designs are realistic.
- Experience with value-based scoping, TCO/ROI quantification, and post-deployment impact measurement.
- Experience building a team, practice, or function from an early stage and working effectively in ambiguity.
- Executive presence and the ability to communicate clearly with senior leaders and technical teams.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience in a relevant field or demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience.
Benefits
- Annual salary range of £255,000–£325,000 GBP.
- Visa sponsorship is offered, with the qualification that Anthropic cannot successfully sponsor every role and candidate and will make every reasonable effort if an offer is made.
