Responsibilities
- Build and maintain infrastructure-as-code components using Terraform and Ansible.
- Support migration to the new platform under construction.
- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI, ArgoCD, Helm, Kubernetes, and GitOps practices.
- Support development teams on CI/CD and deployment issues for approximately 25% of the role.
- Containerize services with Docker and contribute to platform orchestration.
- Help transition to an observability stack centered on Grafana and OpenTelemetry.
- Design and execute load tests with K6 to validate platform performance and stability.
- Contribute to security and software quality initiatives using tools including Trivy, Kyverno, SonarQube, and Playwright.
- Frame technical needs, analyze requests, and collaborate with product and engineering teams.
- Maintain existing environments while contributing to the modernization and evolution of Free’s platforms.
Requirements
- Solid experience working in hybrid cloud and on-premise environments.
- Strong proficiency with infrastructure as code, CI/CD, and observability tools.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration.
- Sensitivity to software security, performance, and quality concerns.
- Ability to work autonomously in an evolving environment and solve complex technical problems.
- Product orientation, collaborative communication, curiosity, pragmatism, and persistence.
- Ability to work with Linux, cloud environments, and the listed platform technologies.
