Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and operate Kubernetes platforms across GCP, AWS, and data center environments.
- Build and maintain shared Kafka, Aerospike, Airflow, Prometheus, and Grafana infrastructure processing billions of events.
- Create self-service tooling, operators, controllers, and automation to improve developer experience and deployment velocity.
- Define organization-wide standards for automation, observability, security, reliability, and maintainability.
- Partner with product and engineering teams to integrate new features reliably into the shared infrastructure.
- Lead high-impact infrastructure projects across DevOps, SRE, and engineering teams in the US, Israel, and Europe.
- Use metrics, logs, and traces to diagnose performance issues and implement lasting improvements.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, platform engineering, or SRE roles operating production infrastructure at scale.
- 3+ years of hands-on production Kubernetes experience, preferably including ownership or management of a Kubernetes platform.
- Strong expertise with GCP or AWS; multi-cloud experience is valued.
- Ability to write Python, Go, or Bash to solve infrastructure problems.
- Experience troubleshooting distributed systems using metrics, logs, and traces.
- Experience with Kafka, ArgoCD, Aerospike, or Airflow in production is preferred.
- Experience with Envoy Gateway or Istio, GitOps workflows, Terraform, or Crossplane is preferred.
- Contributions to open-source platform tooling or CNCF projects and familiarity with SRE practices are preferred.
- Strong developer empathy, systems thinking, communication, initiative, and ownership.
