Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and operate Kubernetes platforms across GCP, AWS, and data center environments.
- Build and maintain critical shared services like Kafka, Aerospike, and Airflow.
- Create tooling and automation for self-service workflows to empower developers.
- Drive CI/CD evolution by building operators and management tools.
- Partner with product teams to ensure new features integrate reliably into infrastructure.
- Define and promote best practices for automation, observability, and security.
- Plan and deliver high-impact infrastructure initiatives in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
- Use metrics and logs to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.
Requirements
- 5+ years in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or SRE roles operating production infrastructure at scale.
- 3+ years hands-on experience with Kubernetes in production environments.
- Strong cloud platform expertise in GCP or AWS.
- Software engineering mindset with coding skills in Python, Go, or Bash.
- Comfortable with observability-driven troubleshooting using metrics, logs, and traces.
- Design for reliability, scalability, and developer experience.
