Base Salary
$83k - $138k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and support healthcare integrations using InterSystems HealthConnect, Ensemble, and IRIS.
- Develop and maintain HL7 v2.x interfaces for ADT, ORM, ORU, SIU, DFT, and MDM workflows.
- Build and support FHIR, SMART on FHIR, and REST-based integration services.
- Design message transformation, orchestration, routing, validation, and exception-handling solutions using JSON and XML.
- Troubleshoot interface failures, data quality issues, API errors, and production integration challenges.
- Implement source control and automated deployments using Git, GitLab, CI/CD pipelines, and DevSecOps practices.
- Monitor integration platforms, APIs, and messaging services to improve reliability, performance, and operational stability.
- Collaborate with architects, application teams, cybersecurity partners, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams on secure and compliant healthcare solutions.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience designing, developing, troubleshooting, and supporting healthcare integrations or enterprise integration solutions.
- Experience with HL7 v2.x healthcare messaging standards, FHIR, REST APIs, healthcare interoperability, and healthcare data exchange.
- Experience with message transformation, routing, orchestration, interface design, and production integration troubleshooting.
- Experience using Git for source control and CI/CD deployment processes.
- Experience with HIPAA-regulated systems or other regulated industries.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Preferred experience with InterSystems HealthConnect, FHIR integrations, OAuth, authentication, authorization, API security standards, JSON, XML, SQL, ODBC, and JDBC.
- Preferred experience in oncology, provider, payer, or broader healthcare environments, as well as high-availability platforms, incident management, automation, observability, and continuous improvement.
