Responsibilities
- Act as a software detective by identifying and resolving issues across multiple components of critical business systems.
- Contribute to all phases of the application development lifecycle.
- Gather and analyze requirements with cross-functional teams.
- Implement software development practices that improve application performance and reliability.
- Conduct application testing and debugging to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Contribute to automation, causal analysis, and shared or common solutions.
- Drive a shared-service strategy and performance culture.
- Mentor junior developers and share technical knowledge.
- Collaborate across multiple teams and contribute to team-level and cross-team decisions.
Requirements
- Advanced proficiency in Core Java is required.
- At least 5 years of relevant work experience is required.
- An associate degree or greater is required.
- Advanced proficiency in React.js is preferred.
- Experience with PL/SQL, Spring Boot, Apache Kafka, Java development, and software development is preferred.
- Knowledge of relational databases and experience with Git and Eclipse are preferred.
- Knowledge of XML and JSON usage in API and microservice implementations at scale is preferred.
- Familiarity with Eclipse IDE, WebLogic Application Server, or JBoss is preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and analytical, problem-solving, leadership, mentoring, and attention-to-detail abilities are preferred.
