Base Salary
$140k - $170k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, implement, test, deploy, and support enterprise integrations and APIs connecting enterprise applications, SAP systems, SaaS platforms, and cloud services.
- Develop reusable integrations, APIs, templates, common patterns, and integration components using MuleSoft, SAP BTP, and evolving integration technologies.
- Implement REST, SOAP, OData, synchronous, asynchronous, messaging, event-driven, routing, transformation, and file-based integration patterns.
- Build CI/CD pipelines, perform unit and integration testing, and troubleshoot development, testing, and production issues.
- Implement error handling, logging, retry, exception management, security, monitoring, performance optimization, and reliability practices.
- Maintain technical documentation and participate in technical design reviews and code reviews.
- Collaborate with application, SAP, security, DevOps, and business teams to deliver integration solutions.
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to less-experienced developers while remaining hands-on.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- At least 8 years of hands-on experience developing enterprise integrations and APIs.
- Strong hands-on experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, including Mule 4, DataWeave, Anypoint Studio, and API Manager.
- Experience with SAP BTP Integration Suite or the willingness and ability to develop deeper SAP BTP expertise.
- Experience designing and developing REST and SOAP APIs and working with RAML and OpenAPI.
- Understanding of API-led connectivity, API lifecycle management, reusable API design, and enterprise integration patterns.
- Experience with JSON, XML, XSD, CSV, SQL, messaging or event-streaming technologies, and cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git-based source control, application and integration logging, monitoring, troubleshooting, and production support.
- Working knowledge of OAuth 2.0, certificates, JWT, TLS/mTLS, and secrets management.
- Experience with Kinesis, Kafka, SAP S/4HANA, or other SAP applications is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, communication, collaboration, and mentoring skills.
