Base Salary
$138k - $168k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own solution discovery from business capability through technical implementation.
- Partner with Product Owners, Solution Architects, SMEs, QA, and engineering teams to define scalable solution paths.
- Produce implementation-ready technical designs, user stories, data mappings, API specifications, and solution documentation.
- Validate solutions against enterprise architecture, security, compliance, and governance standards.
- Design, develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise applications.
- Contribute production-quality code and improve application reliability, maintainability, and performance.
- Use AI-assisted development tools to accelerate analysis, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation.
- Evaluate technical tradeoffs and establish scalable solution patterns with Solution Architects.
- Mentor developers through design discussions, code reviews, and engineering best practices.
- Drive simplification, automation, reuse, and technical-debt reduction across the application portfolio.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
- At least 6 years of experience designing, developing, and delivering enterprise software solutions.
- Experience with Python, React, APIs, SQL, integration technologies, or comparable enterprise platforms.
- Experience translating business capabilities into scalable technical solutions.
- Experience partnering with Product Owners, Solution Architects, and cross-functional engineering teams.
- Experience using AI-assisted software development tools to improve engineering productivity.
- Strong understanding of enterprise application architecture, cloud-native development, integration patterns, and the software delivery lifecycle.
- Insurance or financial services experience is preferred.
- Experience with enterprise architecture principles and solution governance is preferred.
- AWS certifications, such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate or AWS Certified Developer, are preferred.
- Experience leading technical solution design across multiple teams is preferred.
- Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
