Base Salary
$130k - $300k/yr
Responsibilities
- Implement improvements to existing end-of-line automation software.
- Create automation tests for new hardware using results from full subassembly validation campaigns.
- Troubleshoot manufacturing-line failures and improve visibility, debuggability, and test coverage.
- Develop user-friendly GUI screens for production technicians.
- Program, calibrate, and verify subassemblies using software interfacing with physical hardware.
Requirements
- 5+ years of industry experience.
- Strong proficiency in Python and C++ for interfacing with actuators, sensors, relays, and other real hardware.
- Experience with embedded stacks including Debian Linux, Ethernet, USB, SPI, UART, and SCPI.
- Ability to read and interpret electronic circuit diagrams and integrate sensors and actuators.
- Strong understanding of software engineering best practices.
- A bachelor's or higher degree in Software, Mechanical, Electrical, or Controls Engineering is a bonus qualification.
- Manufacturing software experience and previous work on mobile robots are bonus qualifications.
