Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain software solutions as part of a scrum team.
- Write readable, tested code for public- and private-sector clients.
- Support live systems and applications through bug fixes and code improvements.
- Take responsibility for software components within larger systems.
- Communicate complex coding concepts clearly to non-technical audiences and understand client requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a STEM subject with at least a 2:2, or a non-STEM subject combined with a completed bootcamp from an approved provider.
- Applicants studying toward a degree must complete it before the programme start date.
- Relevant practical software engineering experience with knowledge of at least one programming language, related frameworks, and tools.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to obtain Security Check (SC) clearance, including continuous UK residence for the last five years and satisfaction of other clearance criteria.
