Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure in AWS and/or Azure.
- Manage and optimize Docker and Kubernetes workloads in distributed, production environments.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Bitbucket Pipelines, GitLab CI, or equivalent tools.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or similar technologies.
- Develop high-availability, disaster-recovery, backup, monitoring, logging, and alerting strategies.
- Operate and tune Microsoft SQL Server databases, including performance, backups, restore procedures, and high availability.
- Improve system scalability, performance, reliability, and cloud cost efficiency.
- Automate operational processes and use AI-assisted tooling, anomaly detection, and automation agents to reduce manual intervention.
- Collaborate with backend engineering teams to improve deployment patterns and runtime reliability.
- Participate in architecture discussions focused on infrastructure scalability and resilience.
- Apply DevSecOps practices across the software delivery lifecycle.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in DevOps or Cloud Engineering roles.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS or Azure; experience with both is a strong plus.
- Production experience with Kubernetes and strong understanding of containerization and distributed systems.
- Proven experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Bitbucket Pipelines, GitLab CI, or similar tools.
- Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code.
- Hands-on Microsoft SQL Server administration, performance tuning, backup and restore, and high-availability experience.
- Production experience with Redis for caching, session storage, or pub/sub.
- Strong knowledge of networking, security, system architecture, observability, monitoring, and incident management.
- Experience in high-availability SaaS environments and collaboration with backend engineering teams.
- Experience with Grafana dashboards and alerting.
- Fluent Spanish and professional English are required.
- Experience with DevSecOps, AI/ML infrastructure requirements, cloud cost optimization, GitOps, or multi-tenant SaaS platforms is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with both AWS and Azure is preferred.
- Bash and Python scripting skills are preferred.
- French is a plus.
