Base Salary
$200k - $230k/yr
Responsibilities
- Implement scalable, secure, and resilient cloud-native application platforms across AWS regions and federal environments.
- Improve development and deployment processes so engineers can deploy confidently and efficiently.
- Design internal platform tooling to collect telemetry and measure platform effectiveness.
- Create Terraform modules and Crossplane compositions for broad engineering consumption.
- Support infrastructure as code, platform operations, automation, and CI/CD practices.
- Evaluate technologies and automation patterns for application hosting and infrastructure provisioning.
- Contribute to technical documentation, project management, prioritization, and work allocation.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, platform engineering, or related roles.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or STEM, or equivalent experience.
- Go experience is required; Python experience is a plus.
- Experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, Crossplane, GitLab CI/CD, Ansible, Docker, and platform operations tooling.
- Strong solution design, analytical problem-solving, technical documentation, communication, prioritization, and time-management skills.
- Experience using Claude Code or other AI-enabled development tooling.
- US citizenship is required.
- Possess or have the ability to gain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance.
- Experience with FedRAMP, CC SRG, NIST 800-53, or the Authority to Operate process is a plus.
