Base Salary
$69k - $158k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop software and systems from initial vision through production-ready implementation.
- Create backend services and APIs using Java or JEE and Spring technologies.
- Evaluate system architecture and operating environments when developing solutions.
- Identify system improvements and incorporate future functionality and enhancements.
- Help clients address difficult technical challenges using current architectural approaches, tools, and technologies.
- Complete the required skills assessment as part of the hiring process.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience with object-oriented programming languages, including Java or JEE.
- Experience with backend frameworks such as Spring Framework or Spring Boot.
- Experience developing APIs using REST architectural style.
- Experience with Linux OS and the command line interface.
- Top Secret clearance is required.
- HS diploma or GED is required.
- Ability to obtain a DoD 8570-compliant certification, including Security+ or CISSP, within 6 months of starting.
- Preferred: experience with network security, PKI access and authorization, Docker, Kubernetes, MongoDB, Jira, Confluence, Git, or GitLab.
- Preferred: TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph or an existing DoD 8570-compliant certification.
