Base Salary
$140k - $180k/yr
Responsibilities
- Maintain and enhance mission applications as part of a software development team.
- Design, develop, troubleshoot, and debug complex software applications.
- Develop scalable solutions that improve application performance and distributed processing capabilities.
- Build and maintain full-stack software solutions, including backend functionality and APIs.
- Deploy applications in cloud-based and virtualized environments.
- Track technical data used for analytical and troubleshooting activities.
- Collaborate with technical teams and end users to clarify requirements and resolve development obstacles.
- Maintain current knowledge of software development technologies and practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related technical discipline and at least 3 years of relevant experience, or an associate’s degree and at least 5 years of relevant experience, or no degree and at least 7 years of relevant experience.
- At least 2 years of full-stack software development experience.
- In-depth experience developing applications with Node.js.
- Experience with backend development and API creation.
- Experience deploying applications in cloud-based or virtualized environments, such as AWS, Azure, VMware, Docker, or Kubernetes.
- Ability to design, develop, troubleshoot, and debug complex software applications.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with technical teams and end users.
- Preferred understanding of Internet protocols and ISP networking technologies, including MPLS and Ethernet VLANs.
- Preferred understanding of modern JavaScript frameworks such as Vue, Angular, or React.
