Base Salary
$87k - $198k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop backend software, APIs, custom tools, systems, and sites.
- Contribute to solution development, system design, and software engineering efforts.
- Build efficient, effective, performant, and scalable systems for clients.
- Identify potential risks and support user-focused solution development.
- Work with development teams using architectural approaches, open-source frameworks, and integration tools.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience with Java.
- Experience with microservices, Docker, Kubernetes, Spring Framework or Spring Boot, API development, AWS, Bitbucket or Jenkins, Linux, and command-line interfaces.
- Experience supporting system design, solution engineering, and software development efforts.
- Active TS/SCI clearance and willingness to take a polygraph exam.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to obtain a DoD 8570-compliant certification, such as Security+ or CISSP, within 6 months of starting.
- Preferred experience with open systems architecture, DevOps, CI/CD, Ansible, Jenkins, Git, MongoDB, Apache NiFi, and Kafka.
- Preferred Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security, or GSEC certification.
- Preferred experience with Agile development or Scrum and strong verbal and written communication skills.
