Base Salary

$69k - $158k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and enhance software for ground systems and real-time space mission capabilities.
  • Modernize legacy applications into microservice-based architectures.
  • Write source code for new applications and generate or enhance code samples for existing applications.
  • Create solutions to complex problems in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Acquire client requirements and resolve workflow problems through automation optimization.
  • Design, modify, develop, write, and implement software programming applications.
  • Use automated testing tools for testing and maintenance when applicable.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of software development experience using programming languages such as Java, Python, Rust, or Go.
  • Experience transitioning legacy applications to a modernized microservice-based architecture.
  • Experience writing source code for new applications or enhancing code samples for existing applications.
  • Experience solving complex problems within collaborative, cross-functional teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; a master’s degree is preferred.
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph is required.
  • Preferred experience includes Linux-based systems, containers, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, Google, C#, C, C++, JavaScript, React, and Node.js.
