Base Salary
$141k - $188k/yr
Responsibilities
- Configure and troubleshoot Carbyne’s emergency communication platform.
- Install, maintain, integrate, and contribute to PBX projects and unified communications solutions.
- Deploy customized unified communications solutions for clients.
- Own new-customer onboarding according to customer requirements, solution specifications, and best practices.
- Create and maintain technical specifications and solution documentation.
- Provide technical support and training to the Operations team for 911 emergency communications systems.
- Act as the technical liaison among Operations, R&D, Sales, the CTO Office, and Product Managers.
- Support highly available RTC and VoIP signaling services with stringent security, authentication, authorization, and uptime requirements.
Requirements
- Hands-on installation and deployment experience with open-source unified communications platforms such as Kamailio, FreeSWITCH, or Asterisk.
- Extensive knowledge of VoIP architecture, deployments, SIP, SDP, RTP, WebRTC, codecs, packetization, encryption, transport, and troubleshooting.
- At least 3 years of experience deploying open-source VoIP solutions in solutions-deployment roles.
- At least 3 years of networking experience, including the OSI model and network layers 1–7.
- Working knowledge of Linux environments and Bash scripting.
- Hands-on experience deploying on private and public network/security clouds, including AWS.
- Preferred certifications include CCIE, CCNP, or CCNA Voice.
- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS infrastructure is preferred.
