Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain Liferay DXP solutions.
- Create efficient content models, security models, workflows, and templates for Liferay DXP.
- Analyze business requirements and produce cost-effective, innovative technical solutions.
- Create technical documentation including class diagrams, activity diagrams, ERDs, and operational and support documentation.
- Integrate external data sources and RESTful or SOAP-based web services.
- Provide production support, query resolution, defect fixes, and application performance improvements.
- Review and audit existing solutions, designs, and system architectures.
- Keep Liferay DXP updated with current product versions, Fix Packs, and Security Fix Packs.
- Apply security best practices and support efforts to eliminate security vulnerabilities.
- Contribute to architecture, standards, governance, recruitment, training, and performance-management processes.
- Coach team members and oversee development by external federated teams.
- Evaluate and implement technologies that improve development efficiency.
Requirements
- Experience with Liferay Enterprise DXP 7.0 or above.
- Proficiency in Java, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and React.
- Experience interfacing with RESTful and SOAP-based web services.
- Solid knowledge of design patterns and refactoring concepts.
- Practical expertise in performance tuning, optimization, and problem analysis.
- Strong technical expertise and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with Jira, Jenkins, Gerrit, and modern project management, CI/CD, and team collaboration tools.
- Understanding of Agile principles.
- Preferred experience architecting at least one complex Liferay platform through inception, design, development, and rollout.
- Experience with portals or similar technologies and mobile solution delivery and strategy.
- Extensive experience with database tuning, optimization, troubleshooting, high availability, performance, and scalability.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
