Base Salary
$153k - $245k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own well-defined portions of the sale-to-production lifecycle from technical design through shipping and iteration.
- Design and build full-stack features using C#/.NET and React/TypeScript.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to translate contractor needs into software.
- Make technical decisions, contribute to architecture discussions, and escalate cross-cutting decisions appropriately.
- Write maintainable, well-tested code and participate in code reviews.
- Debug complex performance and reliability issues across a distributed systems environment.
- Communicate progress, tradeoffs, and risks to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience building production systems used by real customers.
- Hands-on full-stack experience with C#/.NET and React/TypeScript or comparable strongly typed backend and modern frontend frameworks.
- Strong understanding of SQL databases and efficient, reliable data-model design.
- Working knowledge of distributed systems and microservices architecture.
- Proficiency with Git, unit testing, debugging, and performance profiling.
- Strong communication and technical writing skills.
- B.S., M.S., or equivalent practical experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Comfort working with ambiguity and evolving priorities in a newly formed product squad.
- Interest in understanding contractor sales and production workflows.
