Responsibilities
- Improve e-commerce search recommendation services and models to increase search traffic and enhance the user search and purchasing experience.
- Optimize hyperscale machine learning models across recall, first-stage ranking, and final-stage ranking in the end-to-end recommender workflow.
- Advance short-text and general recommendation technology, especially the interaction between recommendation and NLP.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree in computer science or a related technical discipline.
- Excellent coding skills and solid knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
- Strong analytical, modeling, and problem-solving abilities.
- Preferred: product sense focused on user experience and domain knowledge or work experience in modern recommendation, search, advertising, or e-commerce.
- Preferred: publications in top journals or conferences; ACM-ICPC medals are a plus.
